TRACKING - Track your runs, view statistics that include time and distance spent skiing downhill, on lifts and on flat. Also get visibility on the amount of time you stopped. See current speed, as well as max, last, and average downhill speed (including any stop time), as well as average speed in motion (excluding any stop time). Check your individual run stats, displayed in a cool user-friendly layout, against your personal bests then try to beat your own records. Sort tracks by date, distance, speed or time. View the Timeline of each track to see run and lift details, photos taken while tracking and POIs where you stopped, all accessible from your tracking module. Customize your console to suit your needs and enjoy the dynamic playback with optional Satellite or Terrain overlay.
Note, tracks are still recording and saving should you receive a call or when battery runs low. No data or phone signal needed to record your tracks.

Pros and cons of NAVIONICS SKI app for iPhone and iPad

NAVIONICS SKI app good for

A lot more ski resorts Ive been added to the Quebec area with this latest update. There are still a few missing but I believe they will eventually add these with time. I still think this is a cool app to carry with you when youre skiing to review and look where you been!
Compared this app to competitors. This one is the most easy and complete app. All my resorts in my area are listed even the smaller ones. Good job !!
This app is simply awesome! It will be too long to describe all the features but you wont regret buy it. It works nicely even on my iphone 3gs, tried several times and never had problems, wish to have more battery when I use it for all the ski day. The app team made some updates during the season to improve it, so the app is always "fresh". Probably the only minus thing I found is that when I play my record track it will be nice have the speed/altitude above as a selectable option view together the slope/lift details. Anyway great job guys!!

Some bad moments

Bad, missing stations running World Cup events like Val Saint-Côme and other stations in the neighbourhood.
I have the Navionics app for boating and decided to give this one a try. It work well enough but s a real power hog, draining the battery from 100% to 30% on my iPhone 4S in only two hours, with nothing else running.
Big fan of previous and other Navionics apps but this one is not working for me (so far). The app is simply not recording the stats (speeds, vertical etc). The Hike&Bike app works flawlessly leading to believe its a bug not a hardware issue. Tec support is working on it but their replay is slow at best. Will update my review if and when they will fix the bug. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because other apps from them works well.
Couldnt get it to track progress. iPhone interface klunky and no help or tutorial available. Dont waste your money.
Wow! So much info in your hands. Room for improvement but Im really looking forward exploring new grounds/slopes.
So far, from what I have experienced, this is one of the best ski apps I could find. Even though there are a few things yet to fix.. Like being able to rotate the map for better viewing purposes, and some finishing touches—graphics wise—here and there, it is way superior than anything else Ive tried. The snow reports are missing from some mountains, but there are other apps for that (although its nice to have it integrated). The apps tracking feature is amazing: it clearly defines if what I went on was a lift or run, and it also labels the name of the trail, which is very useful. The best thing about it... FREE. Other apps may do this, but you have to pay and this one just seems more powerful. I have yet to find out why people dont use it that often... Give it a try!
